Cruisin' Hines 2017





The 7th Annual Cruisin' Hines took place on Sunday, August 27th.

Vintage Base Ball





On Sunday, August 20th, the Wolverines Base Ball Club of Taylor battled the Lapeer Tigers in a Vintage Base Ball Match.











     On Sunday, August 20th, the Wolverines Base Ball Club of Taylor battled the Lapeer Tigers in a Vintage Base Ball Match.  The game was played on an open field of grass at Heritage Park in Taylor located at 12111 Pardee Road, in Taylor.  The Wolverines Baseball Club of Taylor lead the Lapeer Tigers 28-1 after the 1st inning.  The Wolverines Baseball Club of Taylor is scheduled to play their next home game against Bay City (doubleheader) on Saturday, September 16th, at 12:00 p.m.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of Vintage Base Ball.

-  The Wolverines Base Ball Club of Taylor is a member of the VBBA (Vintage Base Ball Association).  



-  The Wolverines Base Ball Club of Taylor plays the game as it was played in 1867.



-  The pitcher throws the ball underhanded in Vintage Base Ball.



-  No gloves are used in Vintage Base Ball.
