World TeamTennis News
The 2019 WTT (World TeamTennis) season featured 8 teams including the New York Empire, the Orange County Breakers, the Orlando Storm, the Philadelphia Freedoms, the San Diego Aviators, the Springfield Lasers, the Vegas Rollers, and the Washington Kastles. On Saturday, August 3rd, the Springfield Lasers defeated the New York Empire 20-19 to win the 2019 WTT Championship.

Game Notes
- The Springfield Lasers also won the 2018 WTT Championship by defeating the Philadelphia Freedoms 19-18.
- The Detroit Loves competed in World TeamTennis during the 1974 season. The Loves moved to Indianapolis for the 1975 season.
- Some other defunct WTT teams include the Boston Lobsters, the Idaho Sneakers, the Pittsburgh Triangles, and the San Diego Friars.
