Vultures 42-27 Scorpions

 



     On Friday, May 12th, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Arizona Scorpions 42-27 to win the SFL (Simulation Football League) Season 20 Championship.  The Championship game was played at Fatality Field located in a simulated version of Phoenix, Arizona.  The Baltimore Vultures have won four consecutive SFL Championships.

     Baltimore Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore was named Player of the Game.  Wigmore completed 37-45 passing attempts for 407 yards, and 4 touchdowns.  A replay of the SFL Season 20 Championship can be seen on the simulationfl YouTube channel.

Vultures 27-24 Scorpions

 



     On Saturday, November 5th, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Arizona Scorpions 27-24 in overtime to win the SFL (Simulation Football League) 19th Season Championship.  Vultures Kicker #19 Shark Tarkington kicked the game winning 34-yard field goal in overtime.  The Baltimore Vultures have won three consecutive SFL Championships.  The SFL 19th Season Championship was played at Sports Gamers Online Stadium in Baltimore.

     Baltimore Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore was named Player of the Game.  Wigmore completed 36-52 passing attempts for 417 yards, and 3 touchdowns.  Wigmore also threw 4 interceptions and was sacked 2 times.  Vultures Wide Receiver #10 Ivory Ervin made 8 receptions for 152 yards, and 3 touchdowns.  Vultures Kicker #19 Shark Tarkington missed a game winning 55-yard field goal with 7 seconds left in regulation.  Highlights of the SFL 19th Season Championship can be seen on the Simulationfl YouTube channel.

Vultures 38-24 Glory

 



     On Saturday, May 14th, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Lone Star Glory 38-24 to win the SFL (Simulation Football League) 18th Season Championship.  Vultures Halfback #21 Warren Murray was named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the Championship Game.  Murray carried the ball 20 times for 130 yards, and 4 touchdowns.  Murray also accumulated 68 receiving yards.  The Baltimore Vultures have won three of the last four SFL Championships.  

     The Baltimore Vultures finished the SFL 18th regular season with an overall record of 10-2.  The Lone Star Glory finished the SFL 18th regular season with an overall record of 8-4.  There were 24 teams that competed in the 18th Season of the Simulation Football League.  Simulation Football League games can be seen on Next Level Sports, and on the Simulationfl YouTube channel.  Next Level Sports was formerly known as Eleven Sports Network.

-  Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore completed 359 of 456 passing attempts for 3,733 yards, and 29 touchdowns during the SFL 18th regular season.  Wigmore also threw 19 interceptions, and was sacked 15 times in 12 games played.

-  Lone Star Glory Tight End #87 Ziggy Hronec is also from Woodhaven, Michigan.

Vultures 28-23 Storm

 



     On Saturday, November 6th, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Florida Storm 28-23 to win the SFL (Simulation Football League) 17th Season Championship.  The game was livestreamed on FTF (For the Fans), and on Next Level Sports.  Saturday's SFL Championship can also be seen on the Simulationfl YouTube channel.  There were 24 teams that competed in the 17th season of the Simulation Football League.  

     The Baltimore Vultures finished the SFL 17th regular season with an overall record of 11-1.  Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore was named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the SFL 17th Season Championship.  Wigmore completed 33 of 46 passing attempts for 281 yards, and 2 touchdowns.  Wigmore also finished the game with a 92.8 Quarterback Rating.

-  The Florida Storm finished the SFL 17th regular season with an overall record of 10-2. 


-  Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore completed 345 of 507 passing attempts for 4,484 yards, and 40 touchdowns during the SFL 17th regular season.  Wigmore also threw 25 interceptions, and was sacked 28 times in 12 games played.


-  The Baltimore Vultures also won the SFL 15th Season Championship.   


-  The Denver Nightwings won the SFL 16th Season Championship.  The Nightwings also won the SFL 13th Season Championship.  Denver finished the SFL 17th regular season with an overall record of 4-8.


-  The Atlanta Swarm won the SFL 14th Season Championship.  Atlanta finished the SFL 17th regular season with an overall record of 9-3.  The Swarm lost to the Arizona Scorpions 38-31 in the SFL 17th Season Quarterfinals.  


-  The Simulation Football League also has a minor league that currently features 9 teams.

Vultures 27-19 Sparrows

 



     On Sunday, November 1st, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Sioux Falls Sparrows 27-19 to win the 15th SFL (Simulation Football League) Championship.  Vultures Quarterback Jack Wigmore completed 31 of 40 passing attempts for 232 yards, and 2 touchdowns.  Wigmore did throw 3 interceptions however.  Troy Gaines lead the Vultures rushing attack with 17 carries for 59 yards.

     Sioux Falls Sparrows Quarterback Julian Tyree completed 23 of 39 passing attempts for 215 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.  Colin Hart lead the Sparrows rushing attack with 11 carries for 119 yards.  Sparrows Kicker Maxwell Falck had a perfect afternoon from field goal range.  Falck made all four of his field goal attempts with his longest coming from 44 yards. 

     The Baltimore Vultures finished the 15th SFL regular season with an overall record of 9-3.  The Sioux Falls Sparrows also finished the 15th SFL regular season with an overall record of 9-3.  Archived Simulation Football League games can be seen on the Simulationfl YouTube channel.  The Simulation Football League is also on Facebook, and Twitter.

-  The Baltimore Vultures defeated the Denver Nightwings 44-34 in the Semi-Finals.  


-  The Sioux Falls Sparrows defeated the Louisiana Revolution 21-17 in the Semi-Finals.
