Waza Flo In MLIS

 

The Detroit Waza Flo will now compete in Major League Indoor Soccer.

     The Detroit Waza Flo have joined a new indoor soccer league for the 2022-2023 season.  The Waza Flo will play in the inaugural season of MLIS (Major League Indoor Soccer).  The Waza Flo will compete in the MLIS Eastern Division against three other teams including the Cincinnati Swerve, the Canton Crunch, and Rapid City FC (Grand Rapids).  The Detroit Waza Flo will play their home games at the Detroit City Fieldhouse located at 3401 E. Lafayette Street, in Detroit, Michigan.  There are 12 teams competing in the 2022-2023 MLIS season. 

     The MLIS Central Division features the Brew City Legends, the Chicago Mustangs, the Illinois State Line Falcons, and the Omaha Kings.  The MLIS Southern Division includes the Austin Emerald, the Houston Bolt, the Springfield Demize, and the Wichita Selection.  The 2022-2023 MLIS regular season kicks off on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022.

-  The Detroit Waza Flo will play their first MLIS game on the road on Saturday, December 17th against the Cincinnati Swerve. 

-  Rapid City FC (Grand Rapids) will play their first MLIS game on the road on Saturday, December 3rd against the Cincinnati Swerve.  

-  Rapid City FC will play their home games at the MSA Sports Spot located at 3701 32nd St SE, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Lancers 3-2 Waza Flo

     On Sunday, February 10th, the Rochester Lancers (New York) defeated the Detroit Waza Flo 3-2.  Both teams compete against each other in the Eastern Division of the MASL2 (Major Arena Soccer League 2).  Last Sunday's game was played at the Detroit City Fieldhouse located at 3401 E. Lafayette St, in Detroit.
     The Rochester Lancers are currently in 2nd place in the MASL2 Eastern Division standings with an overall record of 5-3.  The Detroit Waza Flo are currently in 3rd place in the MASL2 Eastern Division standings with an overall record of 5-4.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of last Sunday's MASL2 matchup.

-  The MASL2 is a MASL (Major Arena Soccer League) development league.



-  The Detroit Waza Flo have scored 41 goals, and allowed 50 goals in 9 games this season.



-  The Rochester Lancers have scored 60 goals, and allowed 41 goals in 8 games this season.



-  The Chicago Mustangs, the Cincinnati Swerve, and the Muskegon Risers also compete in the MASL2 Eastern Division.



-  The Detroit Waza Flo defeated the Muskegon Risers 7-4 last night at the Detroit City Fieldhouse.



-  The Detroit Waza Flo also field a minor league team that competes in the PASL (Premier Arena Soccer League).
