Midwest United FC Wins 3-0

     On Sunday, October 25th, Midwest United FC defeated the Lawrence Tech University Men's Soccer Reserves 3-0.  Midwest United FC recorded 14 shots on goal, and held the Lawrence Tech University Men's Soccer Reserves to just 4 shots on goal.  Sunday's game was played at Blue Devils Stadium in Southfield.  The Lawrence Tech University Men's Soccer Reserves team currently has an overall record 3-2-2.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs from Sunday's game. 

     Midwest United FC formed a partnership with GRFC (Grand Rapids FC) in December of 2019.  The GRFC Women's team is now known as Midwest United FC.  It is unclear as of now if the Midwest United FC Men's team will become an affiliate of the GRFC Men's team, or if the GRFC Men's team will be known as Midwest United FC.  GRFC announced that they would be releasing some exciting news in the next few weeks about the future of the club.  That announcement was made just three days ago on the official Grand Rapids FC Twitter Page.   

     The GRFC Men's team currently competes in the Great Lakes Division of USL League Two.  The Midwest United FC Women's team competes in UWS (United Women's Soccer).  Midwest United FC also has developmental teams for ages ranging from 4-19.

-  Will Dyer is the Head Coach of the Lawrence Tech University Men's Soccer team.  The Blue Devils currently have an overall record of 4-2. 


-  Lewis Robinson is the Head Coach of the Midwest United FC Women's team.


-  The Midwest United FC Women's team is scheduled to play their home games at Grandville High School, in Grandville, Michigan.


-  The Grand Rapids FC Women's team won the 2017 UWS (United Women's Soccer) Championship.


-  The GRFC Men's team was featured on the Mitten State Sports Report on June 10th, 2019.


-  It was announced on Tuesday that Joe Broekhuizen is now the General Manager of the GRFC Men's team.

GRFC 2-0 AFC Ann Arbor





On Sunday, June 2nd, Grand Rapids FC (in white) defeated AFC Ann Arbor (in blue) 2-0. 











     On Sunday, June 2nd, Grand Rapids FC defeated AFC Ann Arbor 2-0.  Both teams compete against each other in the NPSL (National Premier Soccer League), and both clubs are rivals in the Great Lakes Conference Division.  The game was played on the football field at Concordia University, in Ann Arbor.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of NPSL action.  
     Grand Rapids FC is currently in 1st place in the NPSL Great Lakes Conference Division standings with 16 points, and an overall record of 5-1-1 (1 tie).  AFC Ann Arbor is currently in 3rd place in the NPSL Great Lakes Conference Division standings with 15 points, and an overall record of 4-1-3 (3 ties).  Click on the links below for more information about Grand Rapids FC, AFC Ann Arbor, or the NPSL.
