Winston In BBL

 



     Cassius Winston is currently playing Point Guard in the BBL (Basketball Bundesliga League) for FC Bayern Munich.  Cassius Winston played college basketball at Michigan State University from 2016-2020.  Cassius Winston also played high school basketball at University of Detroit Jesuit.  Cassius Winston won the Hal Schram Mr. Basketball Award in 2016.

     FC Bayern Munich is currently in 1st place in the Basketball Bundesliga standings with an overall record of 8-1.  Cassius Winston scored 23 points in a 81-77 win over EWE Baskets Oldenburg on Tuesday, December 6th.  Cassius Winston was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2nd round (53rd overall pick) of the 2020 NBA (National Basketball Association) Draft.

-  Cassius Winston is listed at 6'1, 185 lbs.  


-  Andrea Trinchieri is the Head Coach of FC Bayern Munich.  


-  The FC Bayern Munich roster also features Guard #9 Isaac Bonga, Power Forward #8 Othello Hunter, Center #33 Freddie Gillespie, and Guard #2 Corey Walden.

-  The University of Michigan women's basketball team won the 2017 WNIT (Women's National Invitational Tournament). The Wolverines defeated Georgia Tech 89-79 in triple overtime.  





-  Patrick Ewing was recently hired to be the Head Coach of the Georgetown University men's basketball team.





-  The Detroit Tigers recently released Pitcher Mike Pelfrey.  The Tigers also released Pitcher Mark Lowe.





-  Tiger Woods will not play in the 2017 Masters.  





-  The NHL (National Hockey League) recently announced that its players will not compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics.





-  Griffin Conine is an outfielder for the Duke University Blue Devils.  Griffin is the son of former MLB (Major League Baseball) slugger Jeff Conine.





-  Isaiah Livers won the 2017 Hal Schram Mr. Basketball Award.  Livers will play college basketball at the University of Michigan.





-  Jordan Walker won the 2017 Michigan Miss Basketball Award.  Walker will play college basketball at Western Michigan University.





-  Doug Gottlieb recently left CBS Sports.  Gottlieb now works for Fox Sports.





-  The 2017 MLL (Major League Lacrosse) season features 9 teams from across the United States.

-  The 2018 Winter Olympics are scheduled to take place in South Korea.



-  Griffin Conine bats left.  Conine is playing in his Sophomore season for the Duke Blue Devils.

-  Jordan Walker played high school basketball at Mona Shores High School.
