Art Collector Out







     Art Collector will not compete in the 2020 Kentucky Derby scheduled for this Saturday, September 5th.  Art Collector suffered a minor injury while galloping at Churchill Downs on Monday, August 31st.  Art Collector is currently set to compete in the 2020 Preakness Stakes scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.  On Saturday, July 11th, Art Collector won the 2020 Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky.
     Post time for the 2020 Kentucky Derby is scheduled for 7:01 p.m.  The Kentucky Derby is also referred to as "The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports", "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports", and "The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports".  The Kentucky Derby takes place at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.

Horse Racing News - May







      The 2020 Arkansas Derby took place at Oaklawn Park on Saturday, May 2nd.  There were two divisions of the 2020 Arkansas Derby, and horses trained by Bob Baffert won both races.  Charlatan won the first division of the 2020 Arkansas Derby, and Nadal won the second division.  Charlatan is considered to be one of the favorites to win the 2020 Kentucky Derby scheduled for Saturday, September 5th.
     Thoroughbred horse racing in the United States is scheduled to take place today at several race tracks including Fonner Park (Nebraska), Tampa Bay Downs (Florida), and Will Rogers Downs (Oklahoma).  Daily Racing Form, and Equibase have informative websites regarding Thoroughbred racing entries, results, and cancellations.  BloodHorse has a tremendous sports blog for fans of Thoroughbred horse racing.

-  Gouverneur Morris finished Show (3rd place) in the first division of the 2020 Arkansas Derby.  



-  King Guillermo finished Place (2nd pace) in the second division of the 2020 Arkansas Derby.



-  Finnick the Fierce finished Show (3rd place) in the second division of the 2020 Arkansas Derby.
