Over the weekend, the Madonna University baseball team hosted Marygrove College for a pair of doubleheader games played at Ilitch Ball Park, in Livonia. The first pair of games were played on Friday, followed by a doubleheader showdown on Saturday. The Madonna Crusaders swept the Marygrove Mustangs 12-2, 12-0, 8-5, and 12-1. Both schools compete in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), and both teams are Conference rivals in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).
