Rhino Wins Virtual Tournament!

Rhino outlasted the competition to win the Mitten State Sports Report's Local Wrestling Virtual Tournament!

It began in June.  There was seeding, there were play-in matches, and there were Regions named after legendary Local Wrestlers.  There was the Malcolm Monroe Region, the Original Sheik Region, the Scott D'Amore Region, and the Tommy Star Region.  Rhino won the Malcolm Monroe Region, and advanced into the Tournament's Final Four.  He was joined by Sabu (winner of the Original Sheik Region), Michael Elgin (winner of the Scott D'Amore Region), and Zach Gowen (winner of the Tommy Star Region).  Rhino defeated Sabu, and met Michael Elgin (who defeated Zach Gowen) in the Championship match of the Mitten State Sports Report's Local Wrestling Virtual Tournament!  The voting lasted a week, and when the dust settled, it was Rhino who was voted the winner.
It was your votes that decided the winners of every match in the Tournament.  There were eight other Posts that updated the progress of the Tournament, and all of the material received multiple views.  Did you know that "Local Wrestling Tournament Bracket" (posted on June 28th 2013) is currently the Mitten State Sports Report's most viewed Post of all time?  It is also the most commented on Post of all time.  Be sure to check out all of the Mitten State Sports Report's Local Wrestling Virtual Tournament's archived material.  Click on past months to access any, and all of the Mitten State Sports Report's past stuff.  You can always leave a comment, or you can email the Mitten State Sports Report directly at mittenstatesportsreport@rocketmail.com
