Photos of cute dogs like "Lady", (aka "Muffy")  have helped the Mitten State Sports Report reach 10,000 views!

With your help, the Mitten State Sports Report has reached 10,000 views faster then anybody could have anticipated.  Nobody could have predicted the amount of interest that certain stories on this website have drawn, both locally, and throughout the world.  Several noteworthy events happen every day in our local area, but the mainstream media cannot cover every story, and many games, and gatherings go unnoticed.  The Mitten State Sports Report is trying to change that by shedding some light on entertainment options (often free) that you may be unaware of.  I have always been a fan, and supporter of our local teams like the Tigers, Lions, Pistons, and Red Wings, but if your looking for up to the minute updates about those teams, then tune into Fox 2 News, and listen to Dan Miller and his "Good evening folks, we begin" shtick.
A wise man once told me that if you can't be great, then be interesting.  Not everyone can be Coke, or Pepsi, but the grocery store shelves still have room for other brands, and that's OK.  Right now the Mitten State Sports Report is certainly not Coke, or Pepsi, but it is more like a Country Time Lemonade, or a Jolt Cola type of beverage option.  The Mitten State Sports Report is always looking to grow, and improve, so if you have a suggestion you can always leave a comment.  You can email the Mitten State Sports Report directly at mittenstatesportsreport@rocketmail.com  Thank you for your views!

Local athletes like Abigail (Dog Tug of War) have drawn interest from viewers all around the world!

Leave a comment!  So many people left comments in the "Local Wrestling Tournament Bracket" (posted on June 28th, 2013), and now nobody leaves comments!  What happened?
