     MMA Mania is a great blog for fans of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).  MMA Mania covers news about the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), Bellator MMA, Misfits Boxing Series, and so much more.  Some of the writers for MMA Mania include Alex Behunin, Ryan Harkness, Dan Hiergesell, Jesse Holland, Andrew Richardson, and Adam Guillen Jr.  MMA Mania is one of 300 blogs on SB Nation. 

     MMA Mania has results from events that took place last night like UFC Vegas 67, and Misfits Boxing 4.  MMA Mania is a great source for information about UFC 283 "Teixeira vs. Hill" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil scheduled for Saturday, January 21st.  UFC Vegas 68 "Lewis vs. Spivac" is scheduled for Saturday, February 4th.

Spike Is Paramount

Bellator MMA can be seen on Paramount Network. 

     Spike is now Paramount Network, but many of their popular programs will remain on the television network schedule.  Bellator 196 can be seen on the Paramount Network on Friday, April 6th, 2018.  Bellator 197 is scheduled for Friday, April 13th, 2018, and Bellator 198 is scheduled for Saturday, April 28th, 2018.  Bellator 197, and Bellator 198 can also be seen on the Paramount Network.  Click on the links below for more information about Bellator MMA, or Paramount Network.

Newton vs. Beltran

Emanuel Newton (in the white trunks) put his Light Heavyweight World Title on the line at Bellator 124.

Joey Beltran (in the Monster trunks) was the challenger.  Bellator 124 took place at Compuware Arena in Plymouth!

Newton entered the fight with a Pro MMA record of 23-7.  Beltran's Pro MMA record was 15-10.

Beltran kept coming at Newton.  Newton hurt Beltran with counter punches.  It was the main event of the evening!

Newton suffered a slight cut early in the fight.  Beltran was cut wide open in the 2nd round.

Emanuel Newton knocked out Joey Beltran to retain the Light Heavyweight World Title!

Emanuel Newton will face Liam McGeary in the future.  McGeary won the Light Heavyweight Tournament at Bellator 124.
