Big 3 On FS1
The Big 3 Professional Basketball League debuts tonight on FS1 (Fox Sports One). The Big 3 League was founded by Ice Cube, and features former NBA (National Basketball Association) All-Stars such as "Mr. Big Shot" Chauncey Billups, Allen Iverson, Kenyon Martin, Mike Bibby, and Jermaine O'Neal. The Big 3 League is an indoor, half court 3 on 3 style tournament featuring 8 teams for the 2017 season.
There are no uniforms, or foul outs in the Big 3 League. Teams have unique names like Ball Hogs, Killer 3s, and 3's Company. Some of the coaches in the Big 3 League include Clyde Drexler, Gary Payton, and Julius "Dr. J." Irving. The Big 3 premiers tonight at 8:00 p.m. on FS1. - The Pistons backcourt consisting of Isiah Thomas, and Joe Dumars would control the tempo!
- Bill Laimbeer's 3-point shooting would force Moses Malone out of the paint!
- Moses Malone, and Julius Erving "Dr. J." would get 'superstar' foul calls in Philadelphia. They would get into foul trouble at the Palace!
- The '1988-1989' Pistons were 15-2 during the Postseason! Their only 2 losses were against the Chicago Bulls!
- The '1988-1989' Pistons won the NBA Championship!
- The '1982-1983' Philadelphia 76ers were 12-1 during the Postseason! Their only loss was against the Milwaukee Bucks!
