Mitten State Sports Report's Series Notes

-  The Pistons would enforce the "Jordan Rules" throughout the series.  The physical brand of Pistons basketball would frustrate Michael Jordan.

-  Home court advantage would be huge in a 7 game series.  Jordan, and Pippen would get superstar foul calls at home.

-  The Pistons were an above average free throw shooting team.  Easy buckets would aide the Pistons at the Palace.

-  The Pistons struggled with the Bulls in the 1988-1989 NBA Eastern Conference Finals.  The Pistons won the series in 6 games, but the Bulls were 47-35 during the '88-89' NBA regular season.

-  The Pistons struggled with the Bulls in the 1989-1990 NBA Eastern Conference Finals.  The Pistons won the series in 7 games,  but the Bulls were 55-27 during the '89-90' NBA regular season.

-  The Pistons struggled with the Bulls in the 1990-1991 NBA Eastern Conference Finals.  The Bulls swept the Pistons in 4 games.  The Bulls were 61-21 during the '90-91' NBA regular season.

Mitten State Sports Report's Series Projection

Mitten State Sports Report's Series Notes:

-  Moses Malone would be a force down low for the 76ers, but the Pistons would have the bodies to matchup!

-  The 76ers would struggle to win at the Palace!  The '82-83' 76ers were 30-11 on the road!

-  The Pistons backcourt consisting of Isiah Thomas, and Joe Dumars would control the tempo!

-  Bill Laimbeer's 3-point shooting would force Moses Malone out of the paint!

-  Moses Malone, and Julius Erving "Dr. J." would get 'superstar' foul calls in Philadelphia.  They would get into foul trouble at the Palace!

-  The '1988-1989' Pistons were 15-2 during the Postseason!  Their only 2 losses were against the Chicago Bulls!

-  The '1988-1989' Pistons won the NBA Championship!

-  The '1982-1983' Philadelphia 76ers were 12-1 during the Postseason!  Their only loss was against the Milwaukee Bucks!

-  The '1982-1983' 76ers won the NBA Championship!

-  The Pistons roster featured several more nicknames then the 76ers!  This has no affect on the series!
