FHL News: May 2019
The Port Huron Prowlers qualified for the 2018-2019 FHL (Federal Hockey League) Playoffs, but the Carolina Thunderbirds swept the Prowlers two games to none in the first round. The Carolina Thunderbirds defeated the Elmira Enforcers three games to one to win the 2018-2019 Commissioners' Cup (FHL Championship).
The Port Huron Prowlers finished the 2018-2019 season in 4th place in the FHL standings with 74 points, and an overall record of 22-32-3-2 (3 overtime wins, and 2 overtime losses). The 2018-2019 FHL season featured six teams including the Carolina Thunderbirds, the Elmira Enforcers, the Watertown Wolves, the Port Huron Prowlers, the Mentor Ice Breakers, and the Danville Dashers. Four teams qualified for the 2018-2019 FHL Playoffs.

Game Notes
- The Elmira Enforcers swept the Watertown Wolves two games to none in the first round of the 2018-2019 FHL Playoffs.
- The 2018-2019 FHL Championship was a best of five games series. Both semifinals were best of three games series.

FHL News: March 2019
The Port Huron Prowlers are in a great position to earn the fourth, and final spot in the upcoming 2019 FHL (Federal Hockey League) Playoffs. The Prowlers are currently in 4th place in the FHL standings with 66 points, and an overall record of 20-27-2-2 (2 overtime wins, and 2 overtime losses). The Prowlers are currently 14 points ahead of the 5th place Danville Dashers.
The Port Huron Prowlers could likely move ahead of the Watertown Wolves to earn the third spot in the 2019 FHL Playoffs. The Prowlers have eight regular season games left, and four of those games are against the struggling Mentor Ice Breakers. Two games are against the Watertown Wolves, and the other two games are against the Carolina Thunderbirds.

The Port Huron Prowlers are off to a slow start this season, and the team currently has an overall record of 7-12-2-1 (2 overtime wins, and 1 overtime loss). The Prowlers have 26 points, and are currently in 5th place in the FPHL (Federal Prospects Hockey League) standings. The FPHL features 6 teams for the 2018-2019 season. FPHL News: October 2018
The FHL (Federal Hockey League) will be known as the FPHL (Federal Prospects Hockey League) beginning this season. The 2018-2019 FPHL season will feature six teams including two expansion teams known as the Elmira Enforcers (Elmira, New York), and the Mentor Ice Breakers (Mentor, Ohio). The North Shore Knights (Ontario, Canada), the Cornwall Nationals (Cornwall, Ontario), and the Northern Federals (travel only team) have all ceased operations.
The Elmira Enforcers, and the Mentor Ice Breakers will be joined this season by the Carolina Thunderbirds (Winston-Salem, North Carolina), the Danville Dashers, (Danville, Illinois), the Watertown Wolves (Watertown, New York), and the Port Huron Prowlers (Port Huron, Michigan).
The Watertown Wolves defeated the Port Huron Prowlers three games to one last season to claim the 2018 Commissioner's Cup. The Danville Dashers won the 2017 Commissioner's Cup, and the Port Huron Prowlers won the 2016 Commissioner's Cup. Prowlers: Life After Mahfouz
The Port Huron Prowlers are adjusting to life in the FHL (Federal Hockey League) without Ahmed Mahfouz. Mahfouz currently plays for the Cornwall Nationals, but the 28 year old goal scorer skated for the Port Huron Prowlers during the 2015-2016 season, and the 2016-2017 season. The Prowlers won the Commissioner's Cup (FHL Championship) in 2016.
Ahmed Mahfouz has played in the FHL Playoffs every season since the league began in 2010. Mahfouz has lead the league in scoring 4 times, and he's hoisted the Commissioner's Cup 3 times. Ahmed Mahfouz has recorded 205 goals, and 394 assists in 293 FHL regular season games played.
The Port Huron Prowlers are currently tied for last place in the FHL standings with 0 points, and an overall record of 0-2. The Cornwall Nationals are currently in 3rd place in the FHL standings with 4 points, and an overall record of 1-0-1 (1 overtime loss). #19 Ahmed Mahfouz currently has 3 goals, and 3 assists in 2 games played. Saints Left St. Clair Shores
The St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints competed in the 2016-2017 FHL (Federal Hockey League) season, but the Saints have relocated to Ontario, Canada. The North Shore Knights (Ontario, Canada) are one of two new teams competing in the 2017-2018 FHL season. The Carolina Thunderbirds will also play their first season in the FHL as an expansion team. The Port Huron Prowlers are the only remaining FHL franchise located in Michigan. Click on the links below for more information about the FHL, or the Port Huron Prowlers.
The FHL is a professional hockey league featuring 6 teams for the 2017-2018 season. The FHL featured 7 teams last season, but the Danbury Titans, and the Berlin River Drivers both ceased operations. FHL In Michigan
The FHL (Federal Hockey League) is a professional hockey league that features two teams from the state of Michigan. The Port Huron Prowlers, and the St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints are competing in the 2016-2017 FHL season. The Port Huron Prowlers joined the league last season, and won the 2015-2016 FHL Playoffs to claim the Commissioners Cup.
