On Friday, January 26th, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Davenport University Panthers 6-5 in a shootout. The Wolverines also defeated the Panthers 6-5 on Saturday night. Both schools compete in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), but the Wolverines also compete in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) Division of the ACHA. The University of Michigan Dearborn hockey team currently has an overall record of 16-4-2 (2 shootout losses). The Wolverines are ranked #8 in the Country according to the latest ACHA Division 1 Poll. The Davenport University hockey team currently has an overall record of 11-9-2-1 (2 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss). The Panthers are ranked #12 in the Country according to the latest ACHA Division 1 Poll.
