     SBI Soccer (Soccer By Ives) has a terrific sports blog for fans of American soccer.  SBI Soccer covers "Americans Abroad", MLS (Major League Soccer), the USMNT (United States Men's National Team), and the USWNT (United States Women's National Team).  SBI Soccer also features articles about college soccer, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and the USL (United Soccer League).  Some of the writers for SBI Soccer include Ives Galarcep, Skylar Rolstad, and Larry Henry Jr.

MLS Classics On YouTube

     Several classic MLS (Major League Soccer) games can be seen on the official Major League Soccer YouTube channel.  Archived videos include classic MLS All Star Games, classic MLS Playoff Games, the first NY Derby in 2015, and the first ever MLS game in 1996.  The Major League Soccer YouTube channel currently features 14,392 videos.

-  The San Jose Clash defeated D.C. United 1-0 in the first ever Major League Soccer game.



-  The New York Red Bulls defeated NYCFC 2-1 in the first ever NY Derby.

Buck To Dynamo!

Zach Steinberger (in white) was selected 8th overall in the MLS SuperDraft! Steinberger now plays for the Houston Dynamo!

     Zach Steinberger was selected with the 8th overall pick of the 2015 MLS (Major League Soccer) SuperDraft, and he will now play professional soccer for the Houston Dynamo!  Steinberger spent his college career as a four year starting Midfielder for the Butler Bulldogs.  Steinberger also played four seasons (as a Midfielder) for the Michigan Bucks, of the PDL (Premier Development League).
     As a Butler Bulldog, Steinberger recorded 14 goals, and accumulated 15 assists.  Steinberger was also named to three different All-Conference teams including the Horizon League, the Atlantic 10, and the Big East. Click on the link below for more information about Butler University athletics.
     In 2014, Zach Steinberger was a part of a Michigan Bucks team that won the PDL Championship. Steinberger was also named to the PDL All XI.  Click on the link below for more information about the Michigan Bucks, or the Premier Development League.
