State Champs! On The Ticket

      The MHSAA (Michigan High School Athletic Association) Football Playoffs are well underway, and the "State Champs Scoreboard Show" is the destination for news, scores, and analysis.  The "State Champs Scoreboard Show" airs on Friday night's during the Fall season on 97.1 The Ticket.  Lorne Plant, and Tom Markowski host the weekly FM radio show, and Scott Burnsein is the co-host.  The next two Friday shows will air directly following Detroit Red Wings games.  97.1 The Ticket also broadcasts live Detroit Tigers games, and live Detroit Pistons games.  Click on the links below for more information about 97.1 The Ticket, the MHSAA, or State Champs! -  The 2017 MHSAA State Championship Football Games will be played on November 24th, and November 25th at Ford Field, in Detroit.  



-  The 2017 MHSAA 8 Player State Championship Football Games will be played on November 18th at the Superior Dome located on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

     www.mdusbc.com is a great website operated by the Metro Detroit USBC (United States Bowling Congress).  The website features news, and information regarding rules, records, and local tournaments. Bowling has always been popular in Michigan, but the sport continues to grow at the High School, and College levels.  Click on the link below for more information about the Metro Detroit United States Bowling Congress.
     Michigan Kingpins was a 30 minute television show that ran episodes on Comcast Local 900, and CW50 Detroit from August, 2013 -  May, 2015.  Michigan Kingpins was produced by the State Champs Sports Network, and was also produced in cooperation with the Metro Detroit USBC Bowling Association.  www.mdusbc.com features archived episodes of Michigan Kingpins, and also features recent episodes of a newer show called Bowling Showcase.
