Youngstown 5-4 USA

     On Wednesday, November 27th, the Youngstown Phantoms defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team 5-4.  Both teams compete in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League).  Wednesday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth, Michigan.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of USHL action in Plymouth. 

     The Youngstown Phantoms are currently in 4th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 26 points, and an overall record of 13-7.  Team USA is currently in 8th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 7 points, and an overall record of 3-13-1 (1 overtime loss). Team USA also fields a U-18 Team.

-  On Friday, November 29th, the Des Moines Buccaneers defeated the USA NTDP U-17 Team 3-2.


-  The Youngstown Phantoms won the 2023 Clark Cup (USHL Championship).


-  The Fargo Force won the 2024 Clark Cup.


-  The Muskegon Lumberjacks also compete in the Eastern Conference of the USHL.


-  The Dubuque Fighting Saints are currently in 1st place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 30 points, and an overall record of 15-6.  


-  The Lincoln Stars are currently in 1st place in the USHL Western Conference standings with 30 points, and an overall record of 15-6.

USA 5-3 Youngstown

 


On Thursday, February 1st, the USA NTDP U-18 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 5-3.




     On Thursday, February 1st, the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-18 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 5-3.  Both teams compete in the USHL (United States Hockey League).  Thursday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth, Michigan.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of Thursday's USHL game in Plymouth. 

     The Youngstown Phantoms are currently in 3rd place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 49 points, and an overall record of 22-11-4-1 (4 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss).  The Phantoms roster currently features five players from the state of Michigan including Goaltender #73 Owen Bartoszkiewicz (Northville), Defenseman #13 Luke Osburn (Plymouth), Forward #58 Adam Pietila (Howell), Forward #39 Brecken Smith (Jackson), and Defenseman #18 Jack Wilson (Northville).  

     Team USA is currently in 8th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 28 points, and an overall record of 13-22-1-1 (1 overtime loss, and 1 shootout loss).  The USA NTDP U-18 Team roster currently features three players from the state of Michigan including Forward #9 Austin Baker (White Lake), Defenseman #7 Dakoda Rheaume-Mullen (Northville), and Forward #19 Lucas Van Vliet (Livonia).

USA 4-2 Youngstown



On Friday, March 19th, the USA NTDP U-17 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 4-2.






     On Friday, March 19th, the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 4-2.  Both teams compete against each other in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League).  Friday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.  

     Team USA is currently in 4th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 42 points, and an overall record of 18-13-3-3 (3 overtime losses, and 3 shootout losses).  The Youngstown Phantoms are currently in 6th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 19 points, and an overall record of 7-23-3-2 (3 overtime losses, and 2 shootout losses).  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs from last night's hockey game in Plymouth.

USA 6-3 Phantoms





On Wednesday, November 27th, the USA NTDP U-18 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 6-3.

Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 6-3.  Both teams compete against each other in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League).  The game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.

USA Season Wrap-Up





On Friday, April 12th, the Youngstown Phantoms defeated the USA NTDP U-17 Team 4-1.











     On Friday, April 12th, the Youngstown Phantoms defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team 4-1.  Both teams compete against each other in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League).  The USA NTDP plays their home games at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.  The loss to Youngstown was the final 2018-2019 regular season game for the USA NTDP.
     The USA NTDP finished the 2018-2019 USHL season in 5th place in the Eastern Conference standings with 68 points, and an overall record of 30-24-2-6 (2 overtime losses, and 6 shootout losses).  The USA NTDP qualified for the USHL Playoffs, but they were swept in the first round of a three game series by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
     The Youngstown Phantoms finished the 208-2019 USHL season in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference standings with 77 points, and an overall record of 36-21-1-4 (1 overtime loss, and 4 shootout losses).  The Youngstown Phantoms qualified for the USHL Playoffs, but they were swept in the first round of a three game series by the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
     The Chicago Steel, and the Sioux Falls Stampede are currently competing in a five game series for a chance to hoist the Clark Cup (USHL Championship).  The Sioux Falls Stampede currently have a 1-0 series lead over the Chicago Steel.  Click on the link below for more information about the USHL.

USA 5-4 Youngstown





On Friday, November 3rd, the USA NTDP U-18 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 5-4 in overtime.
