Memory Lane: Scherzer
Memory Lane
Max Scherzer
Memory Lane
It's 2017, and Max Scherzer continues to be one of the best Pitchers in all of MLB (Major League Baseball). Scherzer pitched for the Detroit Tigers from 2010-2014, but the team failed to resign him. Scherzer currently pitches in the National League for the Washington Nationals. He's been an All-Star every season since leaving Detroit, he threw 2 no-hitters in 2015, and he won the Cy Young Award last season. Scherzer even tied the MLB record for strikeouts in a 9 inning game with 20. That feat came against the Detroit Tigers last season. The Tigers didn't win a World Series with Max Scherzer, but they were certainly closer to winning one with him, then they are now without him.
