MPSL In Taylor





On Friday, August 4th, Livonia City FC Silver (in gray) defeated Unity Athletics A (in red) 2-0.











     On Friday, August 4th, Livonia City FC Silver (formerly known as the Livonia City FC Reserves) defeated Unity Athletics A 2-0.  Both teams compete in the First Division of the MPSL (Michigan Premier Soccer League).  Friday night's game was played at Heritage Park, in Taylor.  Click on the link below for more information about the MPSL.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of Friday night's game.
     Livonia City FC Silver is currently in 1st place in the First Division of the MPSL standings with 23 points, and an overall record of 7-2-2.  Unity Athletics A is currently in 7th place in the First Division of the MPSL standings with 3 points, and a overall record of 1-5.  There are 7 teams competing in the MPSL this season.

-  This season, Unity Athletics A has scored 8 goals, but allowed 16 goals.



-  Livonia City FC competes in the Premier Division of the MPSL.

Mexico 2 - 0 Canada





Last Sunday, Mexico defeated Canada 2-0.  It was all part of the 2016 Junior League World Series.  











     Last Sunday, Mexico defeated Canada 2-0.  It was all part of the 2016 Junior League World Series taking place all week long at Heritage Park, in Taylor.  The World Championship Game is scheduled for tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. and can be seen live on ESPN, or at www.espn.go.com  Heritage Park is located at 12111 Pardee Road.  Click on the link below for more information about the 2016 Junior League World Series.
     Mexico is being represented by the Guadalupe Vista Little League located in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon. Guadalupe currently has an overall record of 2-1.  Mexico is scheduled to play for the International Championship against Chinese Taipei today at 3:00 p.m.  The winner will play tomorrow in the World Championship Game.
     Canada was represented by the Lethbridge Southwest Little League located in Lethbridge, Alberta.  Canada has been eliminated from the 2016 Junior League World Series with an overall record of 1-2.

JLWS In Taylor





The JLWS (Junior League World Series) is underway in the city of Taylor..











     The JLWS (Junior League World Series) is underway in the city of Taylor.  Teams have traveled from all over the World to compete against top level competition at Heritage Park.  The World Championship Game will take place on Sunday, August 21st at 1:00 p.m.  The Championship Game can be seen live on ESPN, and on www.espn.go.com   Chinese Taipei is the 3 time defending World Champions.  Click on the link below for more information about the Junior League World Series.
     The United States Pool is divided into 5 Regions.  The Central Region is represented by Midland, Michigan, the Southeast Region is represented by Taylors, South Carolina, the East Region is represented by Salisbury, Maryland, the Southwest Region is represented by Corpus Christi, Texas, and the West Region is represented by Kapaa Kauai, Hawaii.
     The International Pool is divided into 6 Regions.  The Asia-Pacific Region is represented by Taoyuan City, Chinese Taipei, the Australia Region is represented by Sydney, South New Wales, the Europe & Africa Region is represented by Brno, Czech Republic, the Latin America Region is represented by Juan Diaz, Panama, the Canada Region is represented by Lethbridge, Alberta, and the Mexico Region is represented by Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon.
     Heritage Park recently added a bullpen with a viewing platform along the right side of the baseball diamond.  Heritage Park also features soccer fields, trails, picnic areas, a petting farm, and a catch, and release fishing pond.  Heritage Park is located at 12111 Pardee Road, in Taylor.

Fishing in Taylor





Heritage Park, in Taylor, offers catch and release fishing off the shores of Coan Lake.  











     Heritage Park, in Taylor, is a well known spot for baseball, and soccer, but catch and release fishing is also available off the shores of Coan Lake.  Coan Lake sits inside of Heritage Park located at 12111 Pardee Road, in Taylor.  Heritage Park is also home to the Taylor Soccer Club, the Taylor South Little League, and the Junior League World Series.  Click on the link below for more information about Heritage Park, in Taylor.

2014 JLWS Preview!





The Junior League World Series takes place at Heritage Park in Taylor, Michigan.  It runs from Aug 9th-Aug 16th.










     The 34th annual Junior League World Series kicks off today at Heritage Park in Taylor, Michigan, and features teams from all over the world.  The Czech Republic, Canada, Mexico, Curacao, Chinese Taipei, and the United States of America will all be represented in this years tournament.  The Junior League World Series Championship will be played on Saturday, August 16th, and a replayed version of the game will be broadcast on ESPN 2.
     The United States Pool is divided into 5 Regions.  Newark, Delaware is representing the East Region, Rutherford County, North Carolina is representing the Southeast Region, Midland, Michigan is representing the Central Region, Corpus Christi, Texas is representing the Southwest Region, and Manhattan/Hermosa Beach, California is representing the West Region.  The United States Championship game will be played on Thursday, August 14th, at 8:00 p.m.
     The International Pool is divided into 5 Regions.  Tai Chung, Chinese Taipei is representing the Asia-Pacific Region, Mexicali, Baja California is representing the Mexico Region, Brno, Czech Republic is representing the Europe & Africa Region, Willemstad, Curacao is representing the Latin America Region, and Regina, Saskatchewan is represnting the Canada Region.  The International Championship game will be played on Thursday, August 14th, at 5:00 p.m.

Taylor United vs Rochester United





On Thursday night, Taylor United hosted Rochester United (Red 40) at Heritage Park, in Taylor.






Both teams compete against each other in the MUSL (Michigan United Soccer League).






Rochester United's (Red 40) goalie makes the save!






Taylor United defeated Rochester United (Red 40) 6-3.
