The Lawrence Tech University hockey program has been featured on the Mitten State Sports Report every year since 2013. The Blue Devils have faced off against schools from around the Country including Purdue University, Cleveland State University, and Penn State Behrend. The Blue Devils have also battled local rivals such as Central Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, and Saginaw State University. The Lawrence Tech University athletic program fields two hockey teams that both compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association). The Blue Devils Blue Team competes in the MCHC (Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference), and the Blue Devils White Team competes in the North Conference. The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils Blue Team finished the 2016-2017 season with an overall record of 20-7. The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils White Team finished the 2016-2017 season with an overall record of 7-14-2 (2 shootout losses).
