LTU 7-4 SVSU

On Friday, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils defeated the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals 7-4.

     On Friday, January 27th, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (Blue Team) defeated the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals 7-4.  The game was played at the Southfield Sports Arena.  The Blue Devils (Blue Team) also defeated the Cardinals 6-5 the following night in Saginaw.  Both teams compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both schools are Conference rivals in the MCHC (Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference).  Click on the links below for more information about the ACHA, or the MCHC.

LTU vs. Michigan

On Friday night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (Blue Team) defeated the University of Michigan Wolverines 5-1.

     On Friday night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (Blue Team) defeated the University of Michigan Wolverines 5-1.  The game was played at the Southfield Sports Arena.  The Blue Devils (Blue Team) also defeated the Wolverines 5-2 on Saturday night.  Saturday night's game was played at the Arctic Edge Ice Arena, in Canton.  Both teams compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association). -  The Wolverines ACHA hockey team plays their home games at Yost Ice Arena, in Ann Arbor.

-  Ken Gaffney is the Head Coach of both LTU hockey teams (Blue Team, and White Team).

Adrian 4 - 0 LTU Blue

On Friday night, Adrian College (Gold Team) defeated Lawrence Tech University (Blue Team) 4-0.

     The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (Blue Team) undefeated season came to an end on Friday night against the Adrian College Bulldogs (Gold Team).  The Bulldogs defeated the Blue Devils 4-0 on Friday, and 9-2 in Adrian on Saturday.  Both teams compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association).  Click on the link below for more information about the ACHA.

LTU White vs. Indiana Tech

Over the weekend, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils White Team lost twice to the Indiana Tech Warriors. 

     The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils White Team ran into a buzzsaw over the weekend.  On Friday night, the Blue Devils hosted, and lost to the Indiana Tech Warriors 8-4.  The Blue Devils were back in action the following night, but dropped another home game to the Warriors 4-2.  The Lawrence Tech University White Team plays their home games at the Southfield Sports Arena.   There is live video for all Blue Devils home games on the official Lawrence Tech University website.

LTU Blue Still Undefeated!

The Lawrence Tech University Blue Team improved their overall record to 10-0.  

     On Friday night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Team kept their undefeated record intact.  The Blue Devils defeated the University of Michigan Flint Victors 10-1, and 7-5 on the following night in Flint.  The Blue Devils are playing well, and the team may be headed for an epic season.   Lawrence Tech University competes in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and the Blue Devils play their home games at the Southfield Sports Arena.

LTU 6 - 0 Cleveland State

On Friday night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (White Team) defeated Cleveland State University 6-0.

     On Friday night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (White Team) defeated the Cleveland State University Vikings 6-0.  The game was competitive through the first 30 minutes of play, and the Blue Devils lead 1-0 at the end of the first period.  Lawrence Tech University scored 5 goals in the second period, and put the game out of reach.  There is live video on the Blue Devils website for all 2015-2016 Lawrence Tech University home games.  Click on the link below for more information about Lawrence Tech University athletics.

LTU 10 - Purdue 2

Last night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (Blue Team) defeated Purdue University 10-2.

     Last night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (Blue Team) defeated the Purdue University Boilermakers 10-2.  The Lawrence Tech University hockey team plays all of their home games at the Southfield Sports Arena, and last night was Homecoming for the Blue Devils.  Lawrence Tech was the better team, and controlled the puck for much of the contest.  Ken Gaffney is the Head Coach of the Lawrence Tech (Blue Team), and Gaffney continues to build, and improve the hockey program.
     Lawrence Tech University is an ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Division 3 program, and the Blue Devils compete in the MCHC (Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference).  The Blue Devils currently have an overall record of 2-0. Purdue suffered their first loss of the season.  The Boilermakers currently have an overall record of 2-1.

Both teams will play again tonight!  Puck drops at 7:00 p.m.  The Blue Devils play at the Southfield Sports Arena.

Hockey: LTU Now Has Two

Lawrence Tech University has expanded their hockey program.  The Blue Devils are now fielding 2 ACHA hockey teams.

     Lawrence Tech University has expanded their hockey program, and the Blue Devils are currently fielding two ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Division 3 teams.  Lawrence Tech is now featuring a Blue team, and a White team for the 2015-2016 season.  Ken Gaffney is the Head Coach of both squads, and both teams will play their home games at the Southfield Sports Arena located at 26000 Evergreen Road, in Southfield.  Click on the links below for more information about Lawrence Tech University athletics, or the ACHA.
     The LTU Blue team opened up the 2015-2016 campaign with a 7-6 victory over the LTU White team.  It would appear that the LTU Blue team has assumed the roll of the Varsity hockey club.  The LTU Blue team features 14 returning players from the 2014-2015 season, including their top two goal scorers Roman Reiner (11 goals), and Garret Yesue (11 goals).  The LTU White team features 17 new players, and only includes 4 returning players from the 2014-2015 season.  The LTU White team is also scheduled to play after the LTU Blue team during home games.  This West Coast time slot assures that LTU White fans will spend some late nights at the Southfield Sports Arena.
