Adrian 11 - 0 EMU





On Saturday, Adrian College defeated Eastern Michigan University 11-0.











     On Saturday night, the Adrian College Bulldogs outshot (41-22), and eventually defeated the Eastern Michigan University Eagles 11-0.  Both teams compete in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both schools are Conference rivals in the GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League). The Eagles play all of their home games at the Taylor Sportsplex located at 13333 Telegraph Road, in Taylor.      The Adrian Bulldogs are currently in 1st place in the GLCHL standings with 20 points, and an overall record of 10-1.  The Bulldogs are ranked 9th in the Country according to the latest ACHA Poll.  Adrian College also fields 2 ACHA Division 3 teams, and 1 NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division III team. LTU White vs. Indiana Tech





Over the weekend, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils White Team lost twice to the Indiana Tech Warriors. 











     The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils White Team ran into a buzzsaw over the weekend.  On Friday night, the Blue Devils hosted, and lost to the Indiana Tech Warriors 8-4.  The Blue Devils were back in action the following night, but dropped another home game to the Warriors 4-2.  The Lawrence Tech University White Team plays their home games at the Southfield Sports Arena.   There is live video for all Blue Devils home games on the official Lawrence Tech University website.
     The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils (White Team) currently have an overall record of 6-4.  The Blue Devils compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association).  Click on the links below for more information about the ACHA, or the Lawrence Tech University athletic program.

LTU Blue Still Undefeated!





The Lawrence Tech University Blue Team improved their overall record to 10-0.  











     On Friday night, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Team kept their undefeated record intact.  The Blue Devils defeated the University of Michigan Flint Victors 10-1, and 7-5 on the following night in Flint.  The Blue Devils are playing well, and the team may be headed for an epic season.   Lawrence Tech University competes in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and the Blue Devils play their home games at the Southfield Sports Arena.

New Home For Waza Flo

     The Detroit Waza Flo will play the 2015-2016 season at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center in Flint. The Waza Flo compete in the MASL (Major Arena Soccer League), and Detroit finished the 2014-2015 season with an overall record of 4-16.  The Dort Federal Event Center is formerly known as Perani Arena, and the remodeled venue is also home to the Flint Firebirds.  The Firebirds are playing in their inaugural season in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League).  Click on the links below for more information about the Detroit Waza Flo, the MASL, the Flint Firebirds, the OHL, or the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center.

Tyrone Wheatley Park

     Tyrone Wheatley is a legend at the University of Michigan, and for 10 seasons Wheatley was a quality running back in the NFL (National Football League).  The city of Inkster dedicated a park to Tyrone Wheatley on June 4th, 1999.  Tyrone Wheatley Park was formerly known as Penn Park, and it's located off of Beech Daly Road between Carlysle, and Penn streets, in Inkster.  Scroll down to check out exclusive photos of Tyrone Wheatley Park.
     Tyrone Wheatley attended Robichaud High School in Dearborn Heights.  Wheatley is currently ranked 5th in all time rushing yards (4,178 yards) at the University of Michigan, and Wheatley accumulated 4,962 rushing yards during his 10 year NFL career.  Wheatley played his first four seasons with the New York Giants, and spent the following six seasons with the Oakland Raiders.  Tyrone Wheatley became a coach after his playing days were over, and currently coaches running backs at the University of Michigan.

Wilson Barn in Livonia





Wilson Barn is a historic landmark in Livonia.  It is located on the corner of West Chicago, and Middlebelt Roads.











     The Wilson Barn has sat on the northeast corner of West Chicago, and Middlebelt Roads since 1919.  Ira Wilson originally built a barn in 1888, but the structure burnt down, and Wilson constructed the current structure (in 1919).  Ira Wilson grew a million dollar enterprise known as the "Ira Wilson & Sons Dairy", and Wilson also held several local elective offices.  Ira Wilson died in 1944, but the Wilson Barn remains open from May thru October.  The Wilson Barn, in Livonia, is a MSHS (Michigan State Historic Site), and is also listed on the NRHP (U.S. National Register of Historic Places).  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of the historic Wilson Barn in Livonia.  Click on the link below for more information about the Wilson Barn.
