On Saturday, the Madonna University women's softball team hosted the University of Findlay Oilers for a two game series. The Oilers defeated the Crusaders 11-1 in the first game, and 12-2 in the second game. Saturday's doubleheader marked the home opener for the Crusaders women's softball team. The University of Findlay women's softball team currently has an overall record of 12-8. The Oilers are a NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division II program, and the team competes in the GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference).
