3. The Detroit Panthers were a NFL franchise (for two seasons) from 1925-1926.
4. Ted Nugent (musician) spent his childhood living in Redford, Michigan.
5. Jalen Rose played High School basketball at Southwestern High School in Detroit, Michigan.
6. Traverse City, Michigan is home to the National Cherry Festival.
7. Rick Forzano was the Head Coach of the Detroit Lions for 3 seasons from 1974-1976.
8. The State of Michigan formally entered the Union in 1837.
9. Bo Shembechler's first name is Glenn.
10. Michigan is the only State in the United States to have two peninsulas.
