Junior Hockey In Southgate

On Sunday, November 10th, the Fort Wayne Spacemen defeated the Detroit Fighting Irish 11-3.

     On Sunday, November 10th, the Fort Wayne Spacemen defeated the Detroit Fighting Irish 11-3.  The Spacemen also defeated the Fighting Irish 8-4 on Saturday, November 9th.  Both teams compete against each other in the Premier Division of the USPHL (United States Premier Hockey League).  This past weekends games were played at Southgate Arena located at 14700 Reaume Parkway Civic Cir, in Southgate.
     The Fort Wayne Spacemen are currently in 4th place in the USPHL Mid West East Division standings with 14 points, and an overall record of 7-10.  The Detroit Fighting Irish are currently in 6th place in the USPHL Mid West East Division standings with 8 points, and an overall record of 4-12.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of USPHL action in Southgate.

-  The Southgate Anderson High School hockey team also plays their home games at Southgate Arena.



-  The Motor City Hockey Club also competes in the USPHL Mid West East Division.



-  The Chicago Cougars are currently in 1st place in the USPHL Mid West East Division standings with 27 points, and an overall record of 13-4-1 (1 shootout loss).
