Unicorns Are Champions

     On Sunday, September 27th, the Utica Unicorns defeated the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers 11-9 to win the 2020 USPBL (United Shore Professional Baseball League) Championship.  The Unicorns finished the 2020 regular season in 1st place in the USPBL standings with an overall record of 22-13.  The Unicorns also won the USPBL Championship in 2019.

-  Utica Unicorns Pitcher #7 Ty Hensley won the 2020 USPBL Most Valuable Player Award.  

-  Ty Hensley was selected in the 1st round of the 2012 MLB draft by the New York Yankees.    

-  The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers finished the 2020 regular season in 1st place in the USPBL West Division standings with an overall record of 15-21-1. 

-  All USPBL games are played at Jimmy John's Field in Utica.
