Football: X League News

 



     The X League (Extreme Football League) is scheduled to play their first game on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021.  The 2021 X League season will feature eight teams including the Atlanta Empire, the Austin Sound, the Chicago Blitz, the Denver Rush, the Kansas City Force, the Los Angeles Black Storm, the Omaha Red Devils, and the Seattle Thunder. 

     The X League is rebranding itself this season after being known as the Legends Football League (LFL) from 2013 - 2019.  The LFL was originally known as the Lingerie Football League from 2009 - 2012.  Archived LFL games can be seen on the X League YouTube channel. 

     The X League recently named (Iron) Mike Ditka as the X League Chairman.  X League games are played indoors on a 50 yard field.  The X League Champions will hoist the X Cup.  The LFL Championship was known as the Legends Cup.
