On Sunday, February 21st, the Chicago Steel defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team 4-3 in overtime. Both teams compete against each other in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League). Last Sunday's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.
The Chicago Steel are currently in 1st place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 48 points, and an overall record of 23-8-2-0 (2 overtime losses). Team USA is currently in 4th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 34 points, and an overall record of 15-11-3-1 (3 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss).
