NBCSN (NBC Sports Network) is ceasing operations beginning on January 1st, 2022. Many of the sports that were previously seen on NBCSN such as college basketball, NASCAR, and Premier League will now be shown on USA Network. The New Year's Day sports schedule on USA Network kicks off with a Premier League tripleheader starting at 7:30 a.m.

- Watford vs. Tottenham Hotspur is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on USA Network.
- Crystal Palace vs. West Ham United is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on USA Network.
- Davidson College at VCU (college basketball) is scheduled for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on USA Network.
