On Saturday, January 7th, the University of Michigan Dearborn Men's hockey team defeated the Concordia University Cardinals at home 4-0. The Wolverines also earned a 3-2 victory on the road against the Cardinals on Friday night. Both schools are members of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both teams compete in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).
Wolverines Goaltender #33 Eric Polzin made 26 saves in the 4-0 shutout victory over the Cardinals on Saturday night. Wolverines Right Winger #18 Mikhail Khudenko accumulated 1 goal, and 3 assists. The Wolverines also had 26 shots on goal. Cardinals Goaltender #31 Anthony Seykora made 22 saves.
The University of Michigan Dearborn Men's hockey team currently has a conference record of 10-3-1 (1 shootout loss), and an overall record of 11-7-1. The Concordia University Men's hockey team currently has a conference record of 6-8, and an overall record of 11-11 -1 (1 shootout loss).
