The National Indoor Soccer League played their inaugural season in 2021-2022 with four teams. The Fayetteville Fury defeated the Memphis Americans 5-3 to win the 2022 NISL Men's Championship. The Memphis Americans defeated the Rome Gladiators 5-3 to win the 2022 NISL Women's Championship. The Rome Gladiators are currently dormant.
The 2023 National Indoor Soccer League season features five teams. The Central Florida Crusaders are currently in 1st place in the 2023 NISL Men's Division standings with an overall record of 7-0. The Memphis Americans are currently in 2nd place with an overall record of 3-2. The Columbus Rapids (Georgia) are currently in 3rd place with an overall record of 3-4. The Fayetteville Fury are currently in 4th place with an overall record of 2-4. The Tampa Bay Strikers are currently in 5th place with an overall record of 0-5.
The Memphis Americans are currently in 1st place in the 2023 NISL Women's Division standings with an overall record of 4-1.
