There's a new radio station for sports fans in Mid Michigan called Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt. The station was formerly known as ESPN 100.9-FM, but it was rebranded into a Fox Sports Radio affiliate on October 2nd, 2023. Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt features local high school sports, Michigan State University games, and Westwood One broadcasts of the NFL (National Football League). Programs like "The Dan Patrick Show", "The Herd with Colin Cowherd", "The HUGE Show" (with Bill Simonson), and "X's and Bro's" (with Anthony Bellino) can also be found on The Mitt.

- Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt is owned by the Michigan Baseball Foundation. It was previously owned by Last Bastion Station Trust, and by Citadel Broadcasting.
- Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt also broadcasts live Great Lakes Loons games.
- Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt broadcasts live high school games from the Saginaw Valley League, the Tri-Valley Conference, and the Jack Pine Conference.
- Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt is scheduled to broadcast Hemlock vs. Midland Bullock Creek (Boy's, and Girl's basketball games) on Friday, December 8th.
- There's a new show on Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt called "The Payoff" (with Ben Bosscher, John Vicari, and Brad Tunney).
- The Mitten State Sports Report posted "SVL On ESPN 100.9-FM" on 11/2/2018.
