     LandryFootball.com is a terrific sports blog that features news about College, and NFL (National Football League) Football.  LandryFootball.com analyzes the NFL, and College Football from a completely different point of view.  Chris Landry operates the website that includes articles, and podcasts about NFL Free Agency, the NFL Draft, College Football Recruiting, and Scouting.  Chris Landry was a Coach, Scout, and Administrator at the College, and Pro levels.

FRS Sports Is Fancred

     FanRag Sports was the Mitten State Sports Report's Blog of the Month back in April of 2017.  The site rebranded, and became FRS Sports Network in April of 2018.  FRS Sports Network was bought by Fancred Sports in June of 2018.
     Fancred Sports covers major sports like baseball, football, basketball, and soccer.  Jon Heyman, Dan Treacy, Brendan O'Sullivan, and Andrew Gelinas write articles for Fancred Sports.  Click on the link below for more information about Fancred Sports.

Fantasy Football

     Fan Duel is currently the largest fantasy sports website, and they don't appear to be going anywhere.  Daily fantasy sports are more popular then ever, and Fan Duel allows you to play in weekly, or daily leagues.  In 2014, Fan Duel paid out more then $550 million in winnings, and the number is expected to grow.  In 2015, Fan Duel is expected to pay out more then $2 billion in winnings.  For more information about Fan Duel click on  https://www.fanduel.com
     Draft Kings is currently the second largest fantasy sports website, and they are continuing to get bigger.  In 2015, Draft Kings is projected to payout more then $1 billion in winnings.  Draft Kings recently added ESPN to it's group of ever growing partners in an attempt to stay near the top of the fantasy sports world.  For more information about Draft Kings click on  https://www.draftkings.com
     Always proceed with caution when playing fantasy sports on any website.  Many of the people that win large amounts of money are gaming profesionals, also known as "Sharks".  In 2006, fantasy sports received an exemption from the (UIGEA) Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act making online fantasy sports 100% legal.

Fantasy Thanksgiving!

The Mitten State Sports Report has Fantasy Thanksgiving covered!

     You've heard of "Fantasy Football", "Fantasy Basketball", and several other fantasy sports.  The Mitten State Sports Report has now entered the world of fantasy sports, well sort of.  On (late) Thursday night, the Mitten State Sports Report held it's first ever Fantasy Thanksgiving draft.  There were three participants, seven rounds, and rock, paper, scissors contests determined this years draft order.  My friend Leann won the first overall pick, and selected white meat turkey with the 1st overall selection.  Leann picked gravy in the 2nd round, and added turkey stuffing, and pecan pie in later rounds.  Tony (myself) selected mashed potatoes in the 1st round, and found value in the 4th round with pumpkin pie.  Pertile also selected corn on the cob in the 6th round.  My cousin Jason shocked everyone when he passed on meat, and selected dinner rolls in the 1st round.  Jason drafted spiral ham in the 3rd round after both halves of the turkey were off the table.
