The MWJHL (Midwest Junior Hockey League) Playoffs begin tonight, and all 7 MWJHL teams have qualified for the postseason. The Traverse City Hounds have the #1 overall seed, and they have earned themselves a first round bye. The remaining teams will be reseeded after the 1st round, and the Champion will claim the MWJHL Veteran's Memorial Cup. The Traverse City Hounds are the two time defending MWJHL Champions! The #2 Motor City Monarchs will host the #7 Michigan Ice Dogs in a best of three game series. All 3 games (if necessary) will be played at the Fraser Hockeyland located at 34400 Utica Road.
