AFC Ann Arbor 4-2 OCFC

     On Saturday, June 28th, AFC Ann Arbor defeated Oakland County FC 4-2.  Both teams compete against each other in the USL (United Soccer League) League Two Great Lakes Division.  Oakland County FC plays their home games at Royal Oak High School located at 1500 Lexington Blvd, in Royal Oak, Michigan.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of USL League Two action. 

     AFC Ann Arbor finished the 2025 season in 3rd place in the USL League Two Great Lakes Division standings with 21 points, and an overall record of 6-3-3 (3 draws).  Oakland County FC finished the 2025 season in 4th place in the USL League Two Great Lakes Division standings with 20 points, and an overall record of 6-4-2 (2 draws).  Eight teams competed in the USL League Two Great Lakes Division this season.

-  The Flint City Bucks finished the 2025 season in 1st place in the USL League Two Great Lakes Division standings with 27 points, and an overall record of 9-3. 

-  Vermont Green FC defeated Ballard FC 2-1 to win the 2025 USL League Two Championship.  

-  AFC Ann Arbor plays their home games at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor.

-  AFC Ann Arbor also fields a Women's team.

We checked out the Michigan Gamblers in January.

The Gamblers play their home games at Big Boy Arena located at 34400 Utica Road, in Fraser.

We attended a Motor City Rockers game.  The Rockers compete in the FPHL.

The Rockers also play their home games at Big Boy Arena in Fraser.

We saw a college hockey game in Dearborn.

We watched the USA NTDP U-18 Team in February.

We also checked out the USA NTDP U-17 Team.

The 42nd Annual Plymouth Ice Festival was featured on the Mitten State Sports Report.

We posted about the closing of Northville Downs.

We saw USL League Two action in Royal Oak.

We went to see Vintage Base Ball at Greenfield Village.

Vintage Base Ball, or Historic Base Ball is played by the rules of 1867.
