College Baseball HFCC vs. MCC

 Macomb Community College defeated Henry Ford Community College (in white) twice on Thursday 7-1, and 4-2.

     The Macomb Community College Monarchs visited Papp Park on Thursday, for a double header showdown against the Henry Ford Community College Hawks.  The Monarchs defeated the Hawks 7-1 in the 1st game, and held on for the 4-2 win in the 2nd game.  Both games were scheduled for 7 innings, and the weather was cold, and windy with temperatures hovering around 50 degrees for both games.   Both baseball programs play in Division II of the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association), and both schools compete in the MCCAA (Michigan Community College Athletic Association) Conference. The Henry Ford Community College baseball team plays all of their home games at Papp Park in Taylor.  Papp Park is located on the corner of Wick Road, and Westlake.
