The 2014 NBA (National Basketball Association) Playoffs are underway, and many people are calling it the best 1st round in postseason history. The Mitten State Sports Report began wondering what would happen if some of the best teams in basketball history could square off against each other. I've decided to post an NBA All-Time Playoffs featuring some of the best teams to ever step on the hardwood. Not every team qualified for the NBA All-Time Playoffs! Only teams after the 1980 season could qualify for the tournament. Only one team from each franchise qualified, so the "Bad Boys" of the l989 season will not face the 2004 Pistons lead by Chauncey "Mr. Big Shot" Billups, and Ben "Big Ben" Wallace. A team must have also won their Conference Championship. Every team that made the NBA All-Time Playoffs played in the NBA Finals.
The teams have been seeded according to their regular season records for the year in which the team represents. A new post will be designed after the first round has been completed. The Mitten State Sports Report will break down each matchup with roster information, notes, and projections for each series. Three days of voting will be dedicated to every Playoff series, so scroll down and vote for the team that you think would advance in a 7 game series.
