The Old Car Festival took place at Greenfield Village last weekend! Greenfield Village is located in Dearborn! |
The "Old Car Festival" took place at historical Greenfield Village last weekend, and the turnout was phenomenal! There were 900 participants in this years event, and there were Old Cars on display from 1892-1932. Greenfield Village is located at 20900 Oakwood Blvd., in Dearborn.
It felt as if I traveled back in time the moment I stepped inside Greenfield Village. Many people dressed up for the occasion, and the Old Cars were allowed to travel throughout the village. The Old Cars were organized according to their year, and signs in the windows correctly labeled information about each vehicle. Be sure to check out exclusive photos from this years "Old Car Festival" at Greenfield Village!
Marty Potashnik brought his 1908 Buick F to the Old Car Festival, and Marty was kind enough to let me ride along during the pass by. Marty's father first brought the 1908 Buick to the Old Car Festival back in 1968. On Saturday night, the "Old Car Festival" was highlighted by a gas light tour at dusk, followed by a firework show.
