The MASL (Major Arena Soccer League) returned to action last Saturday, at the Kessey Fieldhouse in Melvindale. The Detroit Waza Flo lost in heartbreaking fashion to the St. Louis Ambush 6-5. The Waza Flo pulled their goalie late in the contest, and went with the extra attacker. Detroit had their chances, but the Ambush held on to improve their overall record to 5-12. The Detroit Waza Flo are currently in 4th place in the Eastern Division standings with an overall record of 3-12. Detroit is hosting the Harrisburg Heat tonight, beginning at 7:05 p.m. The Waza Flo play all of their home games at the Kessey Fieldhouse located at 4300 S. Dearborn Street, in Melvindale.
