The Davenport University hockey team visited the Taylor Sportsplex, on Saturday night, for a college hockey showdown against Eastern Michigan University. The Davenport Panthers won the game 7-1, and outshot the EMU Eagles 40-24 in the process. Saturday night's game was the final home game of the season for the Eastern Michigan University hockey team.
The Davenport University hockey team is currently in 2nd place in the GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League) standings with 45 points, and an overall record of 20-15 (1 overtime loss, and 4 shootout losses).
