On Saturday night, the Illinois State University Redbirds outshot (33-19), and eventually defeated the Eastern Michigan University Eagles 10-0. The Redbirds were aided by a hat trick performance from their goal scoring leader #93 Parker Johnson. Both hockey teams compete in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association).
