Tri-City 8-2 USA

On Friday January 4th, the Tri-City Storm defeated the USA NTDP U-17 Team 8-2.

     On Friday, January 4th, the Tri-City Storm defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team 8-2.  The Storm outshot the USA NTPD 40-31.  Both teams compete in the USHL (United States Hockey League).  Friday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.
     The Tri-City Storm are currently in 1st place in the Western Conference of the USHL with 48 points, and an overall record of 23-6-1-1 (1 overtime loss, and 1 shootout loss).  Team USA is currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference of the USHL with 23 points, and an overall record of 10-11-1-2 (1 overtime loss, and 2 shootout losses).  The USA NTDP also features an U-18 Team.

-  Tri-City Storm Forward #17 Chase McLane is from Trenton, Michigan.



-  Tri-City Storm Forward #18 Benji Eckerle is from Northville, Michigan.



-  The USA NTDP U-17 Team defeated the Tri-City Storm 5-4 in a shootout on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019.
