| On Tuesday, March 26th, the Henry Ford College baseball team hosted the Macomb Community College Monarchs. |
On Tuesday, March 26th, the Henry Ford College baseball team hosted the Macomb Community College Monarchs for a doubleheader. Both games were played at Papp Park located at the southwest corner of Wick Road, and Westlake, in Taylor. The Henry Ford Hawks defeated the Macomb Community College Monarchs 4-3 in the first game, and 5-1 in the second game. The Henry Ford Hawks, and the Macomb Community College Monarchs are both NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) programs, and both schools compete against each other in the MCCAA (Michigan Community College Athletic Association). The Henry Ford College baseball team currently has an overall record of 7-10, and the Hawks are 4-2 in the MCCAA. - Hawks Pitcher #4 Jacob Way earned a win against the Monarchs in the first game of last Tuesday's doubleheader.
- Hawks Infielder #17 Marcial Gomez hit a 2 run walk-off home run against the Monarchs in the first game of last Tuesday's doubleheader.
- Hawks Pitcher #14 Larry (A.J.) Riddle earned a win against the Monarchs in the second game of last Tuesday's doubleheader.
- On Sunday, March 24th, the Macomb Community College Monarchs hosted the Henry Ford College Hawks for a doubleheader. The Monarchs won the first game 6-1, but the Hawks won the second game 9-0.
