Dodgers Win On Strat-O-Matic

     The 2020 MLB (Major League Baseball) season is officially under way, and Strat-O-Matic has ended their MLB season simulation with the Los Angeles Dodgers winning the World Series.  The Dodgers defeated the Washington Nationals in five games to win the NLCS (National League Championship Series), and then defeated the Houston Astros in five games to win the World Series.  Dodgers Pitcher Clayton Kershaw won the National League Cy Young Award, and Houston Astros Pitcher Justin Verlander won the American League Cy Young Award.  The Detroit Tigers finished in last place in the American League Central standings with an overall record of 67-95.

-  The Los Angeles Dodgers finished the Strat-O-Matic regular season simulation in 1st place in the National League West standings with an overall record of 112-50.



-  Houston Astros 3B Alex Bregman won the American League MVP (Most Valuable Player) Award in the Strat-O-Matic season simulation.



-  Colorado Rockies SS Trevor Story won the National League MVP Award in the Strat-O-Matic season simulation.



-  Chicago White Sox OF Luis Robert won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in the Strat-O-Matic season simulation.



-  Cincinnati Reds OF Shogo Akiyama won the National League Rookie of the Year Award in the Strat-O-Matic season simulation.



-  The Great Lakes Loons are a Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.  The Loons are based in Midland, Michigan.
