On Friday, March 19th, the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 4-2. Both teams compete against each other in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League). Friday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.
Team USA is currently in 4th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 42 points, and an overall record of 18-13-3-3 (3 overtime losses, and 3 shootout losses). The Youngstown Phantoms are currently in 6th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 19 points, and an overall record of 7-23-3-2 (3 overtime losses, and 2 shootout losses).
