On Saturday, January 29th, the Midwest Blackbirds (Dyer, Indiana) defeated the Motor City Hockey Club 4-2. Both teams compete against each other in the Premier Division of the USPHL (United States Premier Hockey League). The Midwest Blackbirds are currently in 5th place in the USPHL Midwest East Division standings with 31 points, and an overall record of 14-18-2-1 (2 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss). Game Notes

- The Metro Jets (Mount Clemens, Michigan) are currently ranked as the #1 overall team in the USPHL Premier Division. The Jets currently have an overall record of 34-4-1 (1 overtime loss).
