Local Wrestling Virtual Tournament!

The Mitten State Sports Report is a proud supporter, and fan of local independent wrestling.  It has always been somewhat of a dream of mine to organize, or be a part of a successful independent local wrestling promotion.  The cost along with the headaches make this seem almost unobtainable, but the Mitten State Sports Report has found another option.  The Mitten State Sports Report is in the process of constructing a 64 man "Local Wrestling Virtual Tournament" where your votes will decide who advances.  The tournament will be set up like the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.  There will be 4 Regions, along with 4 play in matches where the winners will be decided by your votes.
I will be revealing the four #1 seeds tomorrow, along with the four Regions for the 64 man tournament.  On Saturday, I will reveal the four play in matches, and sometime next week I will unveil the 64 man tournament.  Only one day will be allotted to vote for each match in the first round.  The number of days allotted to vote on each match will increase as the tournament progresses.  It may take all summer to decide a winner, but the Mitten State Sports Report with the help of your votes will decide one winner who will be crowned as the undisputed  Mitten State Sports Report Virtual Heavyweight Champion!
Just like the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the Mitten State Sports Report's Local Wrestling Virtual Tournament is sure to raise controversy from the seeding all the way down to the wrestlers that were "on the bubble", and did not make the tournament.  Some people may have a problem with the draws, or which region somebody was placed in, the bottom line is I don't care!  This is the Mitten State Sports Report's tournament on the Mitten State Sports Report.  Upsets are bound to happen, hearts will be broken, and in the end there will be only one!

Vote for who you think should advance!
