| Eds Hockey is an adult recreational hockey league that has separate leagues for different age groups. |
Eds Hockey has been featured several times on the Mitten State Sports Report, and different age groups have been profiled. Eds Hockey is an adult recreational hockey league based in Southeast Michigan, and the over 50 division plays at Compuware Arena in Plymouth. The teams meet late on Monday, and Wednesday evenings, and the players have access to both ice rinks at Compuware Arena.
Compuware Arena has a NHL (National Hockey League) style rink used by the Ontario Hockey League's Plymouth Whalers, and an Olympic style rink used by the Detroit Catholic Central High School hockey team. The Eds Hockey over 50 league currently consists of five teams, and their Championship game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4th (10:10 p.m.).
