Pictures of 2014





2014 began with the Plymouth Ice Festival! The temperature was too warm for the ice, but there was a wood carver on duty.





We watched college hockey games in February.  The Lawrence Tech University hockey team was featured.





In March, we visited the Gibraltar Trade Center in Taylor.  It has since been closed.  There is a location in Mount Clemens.





College baseball dominated the month of April.  Madonna University was featured.





We also checked out some college softball games.  The Henry Ford Community College softball team was featured.





We went to the ARCA races at Flat Rock Speedway during the summer!





The 2015 ARCA racing season will be here in no time.





We checked in on the Michigan Bucks soccer club.  The Bucks won the 2014 PDL Championship!





Even recreational sports leagues are on the Mitten State Sports Report. Check out the Michigan United Soccer League.





In August, we went to see the Tony Hawk Skate Tour.  





Tony Hawk, and the Birdhouse Crew performed skateboarding tricks in Farmington Hills.





The Mitten State Sports Report took in all of the sights at the 4th Annual Cruisin' Hines.





We saw unique cars at the St. Robert Bellarmine weekly Classic Car show.





We checked out all of the Classics at the Blue Sky weekly Classic Car show.





In September, we went to the Old Car Festival in Dearborn.




Some people dressed up for the Old Car Festival. and some folks even brought their old bicycles.  





Emanuel Newton (kneeling) defended his Light Heavyweight World Title at Bellator 124.





Liam McGeary won the Light Heavyweight Tournament.  The Bellator Girls held the check. 





In October, we went to the Henry Ford Museum.   Bill Elliot use to race this 1987 (Coors) Ford Thunderbird.





The Henry Ford Museum has something for everyone.




We celebrated goals with the Plymouth Whalers.





The Plymouth Whalers are playing in their final season at Compuware Arena.  The team is believed to be moving to Flint.





We witnessed a double overtime win at Schoolcraft College.   The Ocelots finished the 2014 season 17-3-1.





In November we went to Ann Arbor to watch some college football.  The Mitten State Sports Report found the end zone.





The Concordia University cheerleaders made the pyramid.  





We said goodbye to the Berkley Bruins.  The Bruins became the latest local sports team to become dormant.
